An eight point sunburst with the top, inner layer sunburst in matte grey cotton thread, the bottom, outer layer in bright, silver aluminum wire, the cross has a gilded circular cupal wreath with embossed laurel leaves and ribbons and a small banner with the date 1941 at the bottom centre, the innter edge of the wreath has a red thread border with an additional silver
